Dear readers,
I have been looking forward to this spring for so long, dreaming of seeing my roses and also other people´s roses bloom again. This year my David Austin rose Strawberry Hill is the first rose to bloom in my garden, followed by David Austin rose Mary rose. I also bought a new David Austin rose, Brother Cadfael. I saw it at a garden centre last week and just could´t resist to take it home. Not only because of its beautiful flowers, but especially because of its lovely old-rose fragrance. I inhaled its smell and was determined that I could´t leave it at the garden centre. I also went to the Hermesvilla, a villa surrounded by beautiful roses (mostly old roses). The roses there looked great with many buds, but only two were blooming so far. I´d love to know which roses bloom in your garden!
Hope you enjoy!
Lisa
